What to Expect in Your Training

Our next training for new volunteer Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will be on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9:00AM-4:00PM at the Family Law CASA office in Tukwila. Registered participants will be notified if the location changes. The training will cover these three focus areas and more.

Ethics & Law

Learn the ethical guidelines and code of conduct for CASA volunteers. Gain insights into the family court system and child welfare laws. Understand how domestic violence impacts the legal process.

Interviewing

Develop skills in gathering crucial information and conducting interviews. Learn techniques to ensure accurate, thorough, and respectful communication with children, families, and professionals.
