Change a Child’s Life Today

Welcome to Family Law CASA’s virtual event.

Thank you for joining us. We are proud to introduce four insightful videos about our work to give children a voice in court. Emcee Angela Poe Russell, Evening Magazine co-host on KING TV, will get things started. Retired King County Superior Court Judge Michael Spearman speaks to how CASA reports help the judges make sound decisions. Susan McIntosh, this year’s Mabry De Buys Award recipient, shares remarks from the perspective of a longtime board member. And advocate and board member Gary Sampson will help paint a picture for you of the impact on children and families by walking you through a case.

We hope you will be inspired to help brighten the future of a CASA child.

Family Law CASA’s Mission:
We advocate for children in high-conflict custody cases, giving them the best chance for a safer, more secure home life, significantly reducing the risk of abuse and neglect.

Change a Child’s Life Today

The families Family Law CASA serves are experiencing profound levels of stress related to unemployment, finances, substance abuse, violence in the home, mental health struggles, and more. With your help, we are committed to protecting the low-income youth of King County through our free child advocacy services ensuring each child is in a safe and nurturing environment.

It only takes one small moment, one person’s small act of selfless kindness, to give our children the possibility to grow beyond their circumstances.

We need you now for their better tomorrow.
